Banquet Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for serving alcohol in compliance with alcohol laws and regulations. Specific duties include serving drinks according to established recipes, clean and wash glass barware, collecting money for guest checks, maintaining a clean and safe bar work area and providing a high level of guest service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Read and understand all particulars of Banquet Event Orders, including start time and beverage requirements.
? Ability to set- up Banquet function bar set ups.
? Collect all necessary equipment, beverages, etc. to set up designated area.
? Polish all glassware and prepare needed bar fruit.
? Report to Banquet Captain before ending work shift.
? After function, remove inventory, and all beverage equipment to proper storage.
? Retrieve and store bar glassware to proper storage.
? Work effectively and efficiently with the banquet team.
? Expediently communicate any challenges, guest complaints or request to the Banquet Captain.
? Respond to the banquet Captain’s instructions and directions.
? Observe all safety procedures during the execution of assigned duties.
? Use guest service skills as identified in the personalized Guest Service Program.
? Fully knowledable of drink recipes.
? Knowledge of laws of liquor service and use the Approach policy to the guide of the sale of alcohol to guests.
? Keep work station clean at all times.
? Perform side work duties and restock as needed.
? Inventory bar supplies.
? Meet company attendance requirements.
? Meet proper department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards
Qualifications and Requirements: Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must meet age requirements to serve alcohol.
Special Attendance Requirements: The Wild Rose Casino and Resort is in operation seven days a week, 365 days a year. Weekly hours may vary. Employees will be required to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and overtime. We are not able to work around outside activities or other jobs unless it is agreed to, in writing, at time of hire.
Education and/or Experience: Prior experience a plus, but not required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) is desirable.
Work environment/Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift and move up to 50

pounds while transporting kegs and packaged liquor to work area using proper equipment. The employee frequently is exposed to cold and warm temperatures within the ballroom.The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
