Slot Technician FT

Location: Emmetsburg, Iowa
Slot technician must be able to identify and trouble shoot problems with the EGD’s and their components, repair, test, move/convert games as required, assist with accounting variance checks and other related duties as required. This position requires basic understanding of electronic theory. Technicians must have excellent guest services skills. A Slot Technician also observes slot machine play for illegal tampering/abuse.
Qualifications & Requirements: Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Special Attendance Requirements: The Wild Rose Casino & Resort is in operation seven days a week, 365 days a year. Employees will be required to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and overtime. We are not able to work around outside activities or other jobs unless it is agreed to, in writing, at the time of hire.
Education and/or experience: High school, general education degree (GED).Knowledge of basic electronic theory electrical/computer technology preferred, experience welcome.
Work Environment/Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend from the waist, squat, get on knees, sit on floor and get up off of the floor unassisted, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs without restriction and move machines weighing 100-800 pounds using proper equipment. Casino may be smoky and crowded at times.
