Reports to: Food & Beverage Supervisor
Position Summary: The Busser is responsible for the cleaning and set-up of tables in the restaurant. Specific duties include greeting customers, busing tables, table set-up, restaurant cleaning, assisting the servers, perform side work and providing a high level of memorable guest service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Use guest service skills as outlined in Wild Rose Casino and Resort policies and procedures.
• Set up tables in restaurant
• Busing Tables
• Restock utensils, glasses and condiments as needed
• Communicate between all key people
• Keep work area clean
• Must be safety conscious, and adhere to all company rules at all times
• Rolling/processing silverware where needed
• Performing side work including but not limited to refilling ketchup and removing trash
• Meet company attendance requirements
• Explain to guest the features and benefits of Wild Rose Casino & Resort
Qualifications and Requirements: Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a physical capacity profile test for this position. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Special Attendance Requirements: The Wild Rose Casino & Resort is in operation seven days a week, 365 days a year. Employees will be required to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and overtime. We are not able to work around outside activities or other jobs unless it is agreed to, in writing, at time of hire.
Education and/or Experience: Prior experience desirable. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desirable. National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) is desirable.
Work Environment/Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, kneel and bend for prolonged periods of time. The employee must exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/ or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly. Must carry out duties using proper equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.
