Wild Rose Casino & Hotel will host Knock Knock Who’s There? Comedy Show for a third appearance. The show will take place in the Oakwood Ballroom on Friday, January 24, 2025. The event doors will open at 7:30 pm & the fun starts at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $15 & attendees must be 21+ years of age. Attendees can redeem their ticket stub on the day of show for $10 free play!
The host for the evening will be Iowa City's own, Kassandra Johnson. You can find her at local shows throughout Iowa and Illinois. She performed in the Floodwater Comedy Festival in 2023 and 2024, as well as, Donzillas Comedy Showcase that aired on Fox 28 in 2023. Kassy has tied for 2nd place at the Rusty Fox Alehouse Competiton for 2024. She has also hosted for Reena Calm and opened for Dan Alten, Chris Schlichting and Brittany Brave. Kassy has an anecdotal style of comedy where she discusses her questionable choices and even more questionable relationships.
The Feature of the evening is Matt Miller! Born in Louisville, Kentucky. Bloomington native, Matt got his start with comedy at Jukebox Comedy Club. He enjoys traveling anywhere that has a bar & white castles. The long haired, smooth talking, suit wearing, song singing, pool hustling, southern boy, and karaoke king Matt "Dr. Pool" Miller is coming to a town near you! The self-proclaimed "Man of Many Suits" has been entertaining crowds from all over the nation with his bizarre brand of comedy! Singing, dancing, weird eating contests, and even an appearance on TV game show Holey Moley! You never can predict what Matt will do or say next! Grab a friend and your sense of humor! Dr. Pool is a chaotic ball of energy and laughter that you don't want to miss!

Headlining the show is Leslie Mitchell! Leslie is a flyover state-based comedian with joyful spirit and a boundless passion for hamburgers. She has performed in various comedy clubs throughout the Midwest and has worked with established comedians such as Dave Attell, Roy Wood Jr., Bobcat Goldthwait, Adrienne Iapalucci, Geoffrey Asmus, and Mary Mack. In July of 2023, Leslie won the “Funniest Person in Iowa” Competition at the Lucky Cat Comedy Club in Cedar Rapids and in the fall of 2022, took home first place at the 21st Annual Amateur Stand Up Comedian Competition held at the legendary Jukebox Comedy Club in Peoria, IL. She has performed in the Floodwater Comedy Festival, Des Comedié Festival, Last Best Comedy Festival, Hell Yes Fest, Tower City Comedy Festival, Badgerland Comedy Festival and the North Carolina Comedy Festival.
