Travis J. Dvorak, general manager of Wild Rose Casino & Resort in Jefferson, has earned the unique distinction of having worked at all three Wild Rose properties, serving as GM at two. A decade into his career in gaming, Travis joined the staff at Wild Rose Emmetsburg as casino manager. In early 2014, he was promoted to general manager of the Clinton property, and in June 2016, he was named GM of Wild Rose Jefferson.
A native Iowan from Clutier, Travis started in gaming after serving in the United States Marine Corps during the Gulf War era. He completed his service as a corporal. Upon returning to Iowa in 1996, he accepted a position as a blackjack dealer at Meskwaki Bingo Casino & Hotel in Tama. He was then recruited to Lakeside Casino where he was promoted four times in six years into supervisory and management roles. During his career, he has worked in every facet of casino operations and learned the business from the ground floor to the executive suite.
During his tenure in the Marines, Travis took classes at Central Texas College and the University of Maryland.
Travis and his wife, Kelley, have four children.
